Bulldogs and ICN gobble up chess pieces at NY State Championships!

Congratulations to the PS 198M ICN team at the NY State Chess Championships!

In our very first state championship, our team came in 6th place in the K-1 under 400 section out of 47 schools and 10th place in the K-5 under 600 section out of 36 schools.

This was the largest state championship with over 1,500 kids playing including both private and public schools. Fielding two top ten teams after only forming these teams in the fall is incredible. Our ICN Bulldogs teams are making great decisions!
