Dear P.S. 198 families,
We are planning a Student Talent Show on the evening of Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the P.S. 198 Auditorium. The Show will feature singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and other performers from the PS198 student body. It will be a fun event for our students to show off their talents and to build their confidence. Moreover, the show can help us raise money for our school to support our enrichment programs and to fund for our teacher’s professional development programs.
We are looking for students to help us design the program cover for the talent show. The PTA general membership will select a design from all submissions in the March PTA meeting. The designer of the selected submission will receive a pizza lunch for their class!
If your child is interested in participating in the design effort, please email the design to the PTA at firstname.lastname@example.org or drop it off at the PTA office with your child’s name and class by February 29, 2016. We are also looking for volunteers to help us with planning the event, making the programs, obtaining financial sponsorship, selling tickets/concessions and organizing backstage. If you are interested in helping us, please contact the PTA at email@example.com.

Contestants: All PS 198 students from Pre-K to 5th grade. All participants will receive small prizes. The class with most participants will get a pizza lunch for the entire class.
